Personal Protective Equipment – Patients will be asked to wear a mask in all non-clinical areas of the building. Clinical Team members will utilize all required PPE (including KN95 masks, face shields, gowns and head coverings) when necessary during dental procedures to ensure the safety of themselves and all other patients. The administrative team members will be wearing face masks when not protected by a physical barrier.
Facility Cleaning and Upgrades – Our treatment rooms are being utilized with social distancing in mind to help minimize patient to patient interaction. Medical grade air filtration has been installed in each treatment room; added filtration has been supplied to our central air system. In addition to cleaning every treatment room between patients per CDC guidelines, we will also be cleaning all surfaces of the office with enhanced medical grade disinfectants on a daily basis.
Best Hygiene Practices – Patients will be asked to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer upon entry and exits. Sanitation stations will be available at strategic locations throughout the office to ensure best hygiene practices for both patients and team members. Pre-appointment sanitizing rinses will be utilized to help neutralize the oral cavity prior to procedures.
Team Training – Our team is fully certified in infection control and OSHA training on a regular basis and every member of our team will be fully trained on all additional precautions to ensure patient and team member’s safety. We recognize dental procedures can bring enough anxiety on their own, but having a team that is well trained on both clinical skills and safety, plays and integral role in making patients feel comfortable and earning their trust.
